Day 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU

Meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: TOUR OF KATHMANDU/ SWYAMBHUNATH/ PATAN

Kathmandu City: Durbar Square complex of palaces, courtyards and temples, built between the 12th and 18th centuries, used to be the seat of the ancient Malla kings of Kathmandu.  An intriguing piece here is the 17th century stone inscription set into the wall of the palace with writings in 15 languages.  The Durbar Square, protected as a UNESCO world heritage site, is the social, religious and urban focal point of the city.  There are also museums inside the palace building.  

PM: Tour of Swoyambhunath Stupa and Patan City.

Swoyambhunath Stupa: Watches over the valley from the top of a hillock on its western side. The stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Nepal and its establishment is linked to the creation of the Kathmandu Valley out of a primordial lake.  Swoyambhu is also known as Sengu and is listed as a World heritage site.

Patan City: Like its counterpart in Kathmandu, is an enchanting mélange of palace buildings, artistic courtyard and former Royal palace complex is the center of Patan’s religious and social life, and houses a museum containing an array of bronze statues and religious objects.  One remarkable monument here is a 16th century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna, built entirely of stone.

Day 03: DRIVE TO CHITWAN AND RAFT AT TRISHULI RIVER
Early morning after breakfast drive to Chitwan enroute raft at the Trishuli River. The drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan is about 165 Km and will take about 5 hours drive.  Royal Chitwan National Park (932 Sq Km) is listed as a world heritage Site and is the most popular safari destination in Nepal.  It covers a unique ecosystem, containing hills, ox-bow lakes and flood plans.  Dominated by Sal forests, the park has 50 species of grass.  The 43 species of animals include the endangered one-horned rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger,

gharial crocodile, gaur, wild elephant, four horned antelope, striped hyena, pangolin, monitor lizard and pythons. Afternoon lunch wildlife activities.
In the afternoon, the guests will be taken for a jungle safari on elephant back So that they can penetrate deep into the jungle for viewing and photographing wildlife or a jungle walk is organized for the guests to experience the abundant bird life and the Flora and fauna of the park.  If you are lucky you may see the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger both on nature walk as well as on elephant safari.
After the Jungle activities in the evening the Slide presentation of the wildlife of Chitwan National Park will be followed by the dinner.

Day 04: CANOE AT RAPTI RIVER/ JEEP SAFARI/ NATURE WALK

Morning canoeing at the Rapti river.  At the end of the canoe, go for Elephant breeding center.  Return back to the hotel viewing the local village on the way. Rest till Lunch
Afternoon Elephant bathing and Briefing.  If time permits Jeep Safari and nature walk.  In the evening Tharu cultural show with dinner.
Overnight at lodge.

Day 05: CHITWAN/ KATHMANDU

After Breakfast drive back to Kathmandu.  Afternoon free time in Thamel.
Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: KATHMANDU DEPARTURE
Transfer to airport for flight to next destination.
