Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01: ARRIVAL ~ KATHMANDU
Flight arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Meet, assist by office representative and transfer to hotel. Check-in at the hotel.
Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING TOUR
After breakfast sightseeing tour of kathmandu city / pashupatinath

Kathmandu City: Known as Kantipur, is the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. A 218 square miles of land, situated above 4400 ft above sea level, Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal's traditional culture and arts.  Kashtamandap the source of the name Kathmandu and  supposed  to be made from the  timber of  a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka,  Seto Machendranath and the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty.

Pashupatinath Temple: Pashupatinath Temple is one of the holiest Hindu Temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in Pagoda Style has gilded roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of River Bagmati, entrance in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of Shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temples are the cremation grounds.

DAY 03: KATHMANDU (1300M) –ZHANGMU (2500M)/ NYALAM  (3700M)
Early morning scenic drive start to Kodari for this Tibet overland tour, (Nepal-Tibet Boarder) through the friendship highway of beautiful Nepalese countryside and after necessary custom formalities at Nepalese immigration. Then meet with our Tibetan guide at Friendship Bridge, go through custom formalities at Chinese immigration then continue drive to Nyalam and Overnight at Guest house.

DAY 04: REST DAY AT NYALAM (3300M
It is more a day for good acclimatization which is necessary for Kailash trekking journey

DAY 05: DRIVE SAGA-PARYANG (255kM, 5 HRS, 4750M)   
Today you will drive quite long distance again, the journey along the west Tibet will offer you some remote cultural heritage exploration and awe-inspiring views of nomad land. Total distance will cover about 255km Saga to Paryang, along the overland you weave your way through small dusty town of Zhongba amidst enchanting panoramic views. Finally you will reach at Paryand and Overnight at Guest house.

DAY 06: DRIVE PARYANG - MANSAROVAR LAKE (270KM, 4-5 HRS, 4560M)
Today is the fantastic day of overland journey, Your morning drive pass the many villages and camps of Yak herders with the distance view of snow capped mountains, cross the Mayun La Pass (5216m), if lucky might see many wild animals at the plateau grasslands. Up on arrival at Mansarovar Lake; make a walk to Chiu Monastery visit which is the best point to see lake views. After visiting around the holy lake you will overnight at Chiu monastery village guest house.

DAY 07: LAKE MANSAROVAR – DARCHEN (60KM, 1.5 HOURS, 4560 M HIGH)
Manasarovar is the lake of compassion, tranquility and bliss, it is one of the holiest shrine for Buddhist, Hindu, Jain and Bonpo religious people. After completing the memorable morning holy Bath and Puja we will be heading towards Darchen, prepare for trekking to circuit the Mt Kailash.

DAY 08: TREK DARCHEN TO DIRA – PUK MONASTERY, 20 KM, ABOUT 5 -6 HRS)
The first day of  parikarama is a gradual walk with multitudes of other local pilgrims chanting and praying. The trail leads to few ups and downs till we reach our camp at Dirapuk (4750 m). We will camp on the nice grassy meadows with a view of Kailash, north-west face at Dirapuk.

DAY 09: TREK FROM DIRA-PUK TO ZUTUL- PUK , 15KM, TAKES ABOUT  6–7 HRS)
Today our parikarama route leads you quite higher elevation of the holy path just beneath the Mount Kailash. The walk will bring us to one of the highest point at Dorlma La 5200 m before descending to the gradual field towards Zutul-puk for the overnight camp. Zutul-puk has a small monastery you can see super views of around feel yourself that you are doing holy journey of life to get nirvana.

DAY 10:  TREK BACK TO DARCHEN 14KM, 4-5 HRS)
Early in the morning starts your trek about 4-5 hours takes to reach at Darchen, today you have completed a holy circuit to Mt Kailash. The trails towards Darchen you will enjoy cool windy breeze and spectacular views. Finally your holy walk will end at Darchen and overnight at local guest house.

DAY 11:  DRIVE DARCHEN – PARYANG)
Early in the morning today we again join for overland day journey, along the way you will have again some of the best panoramic views. Up on arrival at Paryang, transfer to hotel, be refresh and overnight.guest house.

DAY 12:  DRIVE PARYANG TO SAGA (23 KM) 7-8 HRS)
Today is another driving day as we head towards Saga. Take in the sights of the small dusty towns along the way and up on arrival transfer to hotel, be refresh and overnight.

DAY 13:  DRIVE SAGA TO ZHANGMU (24 KM) 6-7 HRS)
Early in the morning again loin for the day journey, today you will drive towards Nepal side Tibet boarder land town. Up on arrival there transfer to hotel, rest and overnight.

DAY 14:  DRIVE ZHANGMU – KATHMANDU (245KM) – 5-6 HRS)
Today is the last day of your adventure tour to Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Our Nepal staff will meet at Friendship Bridge, help for Nepal custom formalities and drive 5-6 hrs to Kathmandu, end the tour and overnight in hotel.

DAY 15: FINAL DEPARTURE
Free till departure. Transfer to airport for the journey onwards.
